This is Our Family: Matt Lambert
Matt came into the dealership looking for a bike and after having researched at home Matt had pre decided that he wanted to look at a V-Rod Family motorcycle. Matt wasn’t sure on which model he was after (the Muscle or the Night Rod Special) so we took him to the used Night Rod Special and showed him around the bike, the V-Rod had already been fitted with a stage-1 performance kit with hi-flow air cleaner, exhaust and SE Race tuner. After both Matt and his wife had taken the V-Rod for a spin they had both fallen in love with it! So then decided to have the Night Rod Special fitted with Legend Air ride suspension and a fender eliminator kit and LED indicator kit.
My love for motorcycles started at a young age, when my parents brought my first PW50. I rode it any chance I had and when I couldn’t I was on my pushbike making motorbike noises as loud as I could. As kids we were always outside building jumps and playing in the bush. I had motor cross bikes my whole life, from KX 60 all the way through to my latest CRF450.
I can remember the first time I thought Harley’s were awesome I was in primary school around year 5 or 6, this dude rode up my street I could hear the V-twin coming from miles away. As it got closer it got louder.
I can’t remember exactly what model it was it was black and Chrome and the guy had camo pants and his bikie vest and I thought it was so cool, from that day on I knew one day I would own a Harley-Davidson.
I have always loved the Hot Rods, the Low Riders and the Custom culture scene and for years I’ve only ever wanted a custom Fat Boy or Softail until I rode my mates V-Rod Muscle, one twist of that throttle and I was hooked so I decided to get my RE License then purchased my first road bike, a Yamaha MT-07 I’ve had it for the past 14 months and had a blast carving up the mountains on weekends now the time has come for me to upgrade to that Seriously awesome Harley-Davidson I’ve always wanted and pass the MT-07 onto my wife who also loves to ride, she believes one day I will let her ride the Night Rod Special but I’m not sure on that one yet.
